CONTRIVE "I-Walk"

Time was around 6pm. The visibility of moon was unclouded, though the sunrays were lustrous. The benighted blue sky was taking vantage over the shaft of light; the clouds present in the middle were like spectators in the arena. It was like a battlefield. The sun seemed to retreat for now and fight back tomorrow.

Ryan was sitting on the terrace. It is a 8th wonders to view, that he was carrying his textbook along wit him. He was alone and it seems his is out of this world, thinking something which is always unusual. Slowly the time departed till it was 9.
Unknowingly his cell phone jumped out of his pocket. His thought got babbled because of its palpitation. Yash was calling him; it was strange for him to call after 8 as his parents are non indulgent.

Yash: Hey Ryan! I want u to get my textbook. It’s little urgent.
Ryan: What? Now you need that book. Can’t you come to my place?
Yash nope dude its urgent. My stupid cousin needs that book.
Ryan: Why don’t you show him your middle-finger.
Yash: I don’t have an audacity to show. No more questions just hurry up.

Ryan shoveled the front walkway. He arrived a point where the road bifurcated. Watching that separation he recollected the lines from the poem “The road not taken” by Robert Frost. Ultimately he made up his mind to use the path less taken. It was dark. Moonlight was the only tip. Though he was little frightened but for now it’s the question of his lordliness. He can’t go back on his decision.

The entrance of the graveyard was dark and was covered with bushes. Surprisingly a small dog was standing at the entrance. Its eyes were glowing like a sapphire. And it wasn’t moving from its position. That didn’t stop him to proceed. With great effort ryan moved into the graveyard. His legs were trembling, the sweat was coming like leaked water pipe, he was about to puke, but still he kept on moving.

After 10 minutes he heard a voice. It was like a woman was weeping obstreperously. It was totaling from the east direction of the graveyard. Ryan decided to sprint, but the next second he reckoned “No way, I can’t run like a coward I’m not fainthearted.” He went on walking, but this time he paced up.
The voice of that woman seemed to pursue him, till the end of the woods. When he looked at the corners he felt the trees going to transform into something ghastly.
Also the shrieking continued like an opera. He upheld his mind, and continued his journey till he got out of it.

To be continued.....
