Compiling....Error found!..... Corrupted files!

I happened to see an article in Hindu newspaper lately about students who got positioned in software companies.  CONGRATULATIONS to all of those who got their asses bumped in the Corporate World.  I want to ask you all one thing “will you be really satisfied with the job you are all are going to do?” May be some of you might say “YES”, well I don’t mind even if you think I’m too young or it’s too early for me to ask you this, as this is my blog and I’ve full PRIVILEGES to write down whatever shit I WANT. Doesn’t matter…..

Now every butt knows that whatever entity you get in the company, most of the time you’ll be spending in front of the IDIOT BOX, (I need not explain you about it ) From the day one all of you are engaged looking at the PC. No matter what work you do on it..……However I also see some of my batch mates who also got placed in some software companies like me. I’m sure after few yrs one day each one of you will think ‘what the hell am I doing?’ Then you’ll sense you should have chosen some other path in the past. You might get a thought that your life will be better without this kind emphatic stress.  Stress is ubiquitously nowadays.

But the kind of life you will find is like insanitary; here is an assumed statistics which is roughly near to the life of software professional.

10% are predicted to be affected by major diseases like Carpal tunnel syndrome, medulla spinalis tunnel syndrome, heart diseases etc (morbid life style)
20% marry their co-workers. (I’ve got a living example for that, but can’t disclose it.)
30% are interested to Live in relationship because they tend to hate the responsibility of both office and house.
40% are confused about settling down in India or abroad. (Perplexed dimwits)
50% has No savings in their Bank Account. (They enjoy their life to fullest and also suffer when they need monetary need.)
60% are not satisfied with their existing remuneration. (Gluttonous buggers)
70% work more than 8 hours across globe. (Powerless imbecile)
80% live away from their Parents. (Worldly-minded a$$30Le)
90% are NOT HAPPY about their living, meeting deadlines, client fulfillment, incentives, promotions, increment, onsite trips, wife, children, visa status, and commitments. (Real Bakra)
100% wish they had a choice before they get hooked up other than computers in their life at least once in their lifetime

Now a friend of mine whom I know from past 15yrs, he is working in DELOITTE. He tells me about his daily living, he have been working only for a year now he feels he is already burnt out. The work that he does is really interesting as far as software engineering goes. He works on real life problems which affect millions of users worldwide and problems which most computer developers would die to be working on. And work culture ensures that you get the sole credit for the work that you do.

These were the words he told me when I’ve met him after 7yrs
The Good points of my job:

1. Good pay.

2. Intellectually stimulating.

3. Not something anyone can do!

4. Sole credit.

The bad:

1. NO women!

2. No minimum contact with people.

2. LONG hours in the office.

3. Lots of stress.

4. No social life.

5. Radiation burns from the monitors.

6. Health problems.

7. Mental tensions.

8.No time to spend with family.

9.Infactuation over money.

10. if I continue for more years I’ll end up in bed when I reach forty.
Most Guys at college: (esp. in our country)… MONEY IS NOT EVERYTHING! THINK about what you REALLY want to do in LIFE! It’s not a Joke. And usually in India WE don’t have a choice. It’s YOUR life… don’t let anyone else (EVEN PARENTS) make DECISION for you.

I am (my friend) seriously thinking of changing my CAREER. Unfortunately I don’t know what I would love to do. And the things that I do love …people would not pay me to do. In next five years I want see myself on a place with tropical beaches. The same for when I’m thirty… doing something I really love.a

  5. In some ways I do agree to what is posted in here. But I feel one hardly gets an opportunity to do something out of the box. And even if one does, the stakes are so high that he backs off! I hope we can change by the next generation!

  7. I have loads to add, but as you said you're inexperienced ,so am I, but I admit you put it well together.
To do, we need to know, to know we need to learn, to learn we need to do (Some other thing related).
This vicious loop scares us away from taking the road not taken.
A change in education system is my suggestion to this problem. what say!

  9. It's in the way you take it .. You can do loads of things off the box being an SE..There is nothing great being in "IT"..and so is it NOT being in "IT".. It's ONLY what you actually DO that matters not whay you SAY.. As somone rightly said. It's a vicous cycle.. Experience it to know it.. know it and then change it if only you can..
